Sensyst is a diverse team of multi-talented individuals, who collaborate, on behalf of our clients, toward a desired result. These individuals include project managers, professional interior designers, furniture consultants, contractors, tradesmen, sales associates and support staff. We have a strong focus and a firm commitment to intelligent planning, creative design, principled construction standards and value-based furnishing.
Our team has the capability to accept and adapt to complex project challenges, which are often shied away from other design institutions. It is our philosophy to provide thorough service and communication at all stages of a project in order to establish and build relationships with existing, current and prospective clients, so as to capture their vision and make it a functioning reality.
Today we have established ourselves as a business partner and integral part of many of our clients’ corporate infrastructure plans. We offer services, knowledge, experience and solutions to assist our clients as they grow, evolve and move forward. Sensyst is proud to provide office furniture, interior space planning and commercial interior design services in the Greater Toronto Area.
WHERE WE CAME FROM
In 1977, Sensyst (Sensible Systems Furniture) was founded as a consulting firm, to assist businesses with their evolving workplace and the resulting changes due to the advent of the personal computer. By 1987, we had evolved into a full-service contract furniture dealership, offering furnishings, space planning and limited interior design services. We focused primarily on the municipal, provincial and federal governments as they were in need of cost-effective, functional and ergonomic workstations and systems furniture to meet their needs.
By the late 1990’s we had added the services of a full-time interior designer to our staff, as our clients were looking to us to provide them with a full range of services relating to their corporate interiors, over and above simple space planning. In addition we had increased our product offering to meet the needs of small and medium sized, privately owned businesses, that were growing and needed a business partner to assist them in effectively optimizing their office space and create ergonomically safe and attractive workspaces for their staff.
