MEET THE TEAM.

Rod Perry

President

Rod is a graduate (1985) of Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with a background in Kinesiology and Mechanical Engineering. Rod joined Sensyst in 1986 and assumed ownership in 1991. Since that time Rod has overseen the evolution of Sensyst from a vendor of office furniture to a complete solution office interiors company, allowing Sensyst to grow and expand and exceed our client’s expectations. Rod’s experience with large projects and tight timelines will bring leadership and knowledge to any project.

Courtnay Macrae

Business Development Manager

Courtnay is a graduate of Humber College with a Degree in Interior Design. She is proficient in AutoCAD 2019, Giza 2020 and as well Creative Suite (photoshop, illustrator, indesign). She brings experience in commercial, residential and hospitality design and sales, with a focus on business development. Courtnay joined Sensyst in January 2012 to build our client base.

Nicole Bodolai

Client Services/Furniture Specialist

Nicole is a graduate from George Brown College. She is a project manager and has a strong background as a furniture specialist. Nicole excels in furniture layouts, furniture specification, and finishes selection. Along with full project management of furniture installations.

Melissa Kaiser

Senior Interior Designer

Melissa has a diploma in Interior Design from Georgian College. She is an Intern Member of Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario, and member of Interior Designers of Canada (IDC). She is proficient in AutoCAD 2019. Melissa brings to Sensyst over ten years of commercial design experience in the areas of space planning, permit & construction drawings, finishes selection and project management with an emphasis on commercial spaces. Melissa joined Sensyst in September 2010 to strengthen our design services team.

Karly O'Krafka

Senior Interior Designer

Karly has a diploma in Interior Design from Georgian College. She is an Intern Member of the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO), and member of Interior Designers of Canada (IDC). Karly brings to Sensyst over ten years of design experience in the areas of space planning, selecting finishes, construction drawings, and project management; with an emphasis on commercial spaces. Karly joined Sensyst full time in 2018, but has worked with us part time since 2012.

Caren Yap

Intermediate Interior Designer

Caren has a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from the University of Manitoba. She has her Building Code Identification Number (BCIN). Caren brings to Sensyst over twenty years of design experience in the areas of space planning, selecting finishes, construction drawings and permit packages; with an emphasis on commercial and spaces. Caren has worked part time with Sensyst. Caren has worked for Sensyst since 2012.

Rylie Ewing

Junior Designer

Rylie has a degree in Interior Design from Algonquin College. She is an Intern Member of Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO) and working towards attaining her Building Code Identification Number (BCIN). Rylie began as a co-op student at Sensyst, and since graduating in 2016 has continued fulltime. She is proficient in AutoCAD 2018 and Sketchup 2018, creating working drawings and presentation documents.

Weina Li

Office and HR Manager

Weina is a graduate of York University in Toronto, Ontario, with a background in Human Resources and Accounting. Weina joined Sensyst in 2015 and she brings to Sensyst professional accounting services, client services and account management.

Sarah Warn

Client Services

Sarah attended Fleming Collede. She handles office administration, including but not limited to quotes, proposals and furniture installations. She is also our trained first aid person, so we are very glad to have her in the office!
